Description
Born and raised in Cyprus - Giorgios showed great talent early on in his career and signed for the notourious Arsenal FC academy as a 15 year old.
Giorgos all round game was developed and formed by Arsene Wenger and the Arsenal youth and reserve team coaches.
Glasgow Rangers spotted him in the reserves and signed him up however Efrem was loaned to Dundee to gain first team experience.
Still very young Efrem was a Cypriot National Team regular and perhaps inevitebly transferred home to Cyprus to top team Omonia AC in 2009. He immidiately made a great impact with some excellent displays and in total 28 games in the title winning season!
Several National Team and European Cup games later, EFREM is now captaining Omonia at the young age of 24 and his leadership and individual qualities continue to inspire Omonia and other young Cypriot players.
His creative wing play, precise crossing, eye for an goal and vital assists, are all of the highest quality and his work rate and defensive ablities are impressive for such an attacking player.
In short he is a allround excellent footballer with already extensive experience!
Efrem is proud and more than happy at current club Omonia AC however he is also coming to a stage in his career where he is more than ready to compete in the bigger leagues and is naturally attracting interest from several directions.
